Hostelling International
Hostelling International is an organization
with rules for spending time together with other people in the same
environment, its own regulation, international standard attendance
and quality control in all our hostels.
Hostels are ruled by basic premises: security, cleanliness, comfort,
hospitality, good price and environment. These standards provide
the members with a safe and pleasant lodging while traveling. Hostels
are getting ready to assist their internet-connected public. Since
the 1990s hostels have a booking system called International Booking
Network (IBN) through which the user may book accommodation. Despite
their name, Youth Hostels are open to people of virtually all ages
(with some exceptions due to local legislation) and a traveling
spirit.
